Dana Rosendorff was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Most recently Rosendorff starred opposite Mischa Barton (The O.C) in the feature film Deserted, also starring Winter Ave Zoli (Sons of Anarchy), Trent Ford (Gosford Park), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Jackson Davis (Lonelygirl 15) and Gerry Bednob (The 40 Year Old Virgin). Written and Directed by Ashley Avis of Winterstone Pictures, edited by Oscar nominee Douglas Crise (Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)Ocean's 11Traffic) and sound design by Oscar winner Ben Wilkins (WhiplashStar Trek).

Dana attended the prestigious West Australian Academy of Performing Arts which hails alumni from the likes of Hugh JackmanJai CourtneyFrances O'ConnorTim Minchin and Marcus Graham. After graduation Dana went onto star in the award winning Australian feature The Course directed by Miranda Edmonds starring Trilby Glover (Righteous Kill, Son of The Mask) and Tom O'Sullivan ( X-Men Origins Wolverine).

Dana then began to gain international recognition from her lead role in the critically acclaimed Australian feature Verite, directed by Adrian Cabrie, officially selected for the London Independent Film Festival, First Take Film Festival, BridgeFest and showcased at the Cannes Film Festival.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Rosendorff worked alongside renowned director Robert Rodriguez, Academy award nominee Jennifer Tilly (Bullets Over BroadwayLiar Liar), Danny Trejo (Machete), Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva), Michael Biehn (The Terminator) and Electra Avellan (Grindhouse) in the romantic comedy Amelia's 25th. Meanwhile, her most recent Australian feature Bitter Art directed by Michael Hatch starring Christopher Morris, (Home and Awaywas playing worldwide film festivals in Australia, Cyprus, China and the US. It went on to win awards in Beijing and Honolulu.

As the creator and lead actress of the web series The Chronicles of a Man Child starring Jessica Rose of Lonelygirl15 fame and You Tube sensation Taryn Southern, Rosendorff received nominations for Best Comedy and Best New Web Series at the 2012 Hollyweb FestivalDana also made an appearance in one of network televisions highest rated hit shows Gleeand in her spare time likes to write and develop projects for her boutique production company, Smoking Dog Pictures

Rosendorff has a greencard and is now permanently based in Los Angeles.
